By not being authentic & giving the wrong impression of what it means to be a follower if Christ. I am sometimes guilty of this. The best way to avoid that for me is to remind myself that I belong to God and I need to be an honest reflection of Him.
So do you mean that when we don't reflect God properly it gives others the wrong impression of what following Jesus means and they can go down the same wrong path as well?
