In this amazing passage we see so many things that God the Father has done for us – and they tell us about how much he loves us, how much he generously gives us.
But it also tells us that God did this for a purpose – so that we should live “holy and blameless lives” and live to praise and glorify him.
Is this our response to what God has freely done for us?
Reading: Ephesians 1:3-14
Questions to think about:
- Work through the passage and identify all the things that God the Father has done for us. How do you respond to them?
- How, in response to that, does Paul suggest we should be living our lives? What can get in the way of doing this?
- How do you best relate to God as Father?
