We are faced with life choices every day – many of them trivial but some really important. How do we make the important decisions about life, how do we choose what we should do, how do we help others who are struggling with the same questions?
In today’s story, Jesus meets a man who had given up, who saw himself as a victim, who was convinced that life would never get better. Jesus presented him with alternatives and gave him hope – but the man needed to decide what he was going to do..
How do we respond when Jesus offers us a new direction or future, how do we react when we realise there is hope?
And how can we share these opportunities with others who are struggling and finding life hard?
