Questions to think about:
- How shocking would it have been for Jesus to claim that he could forgive sin (Mark 2:10)? How much do we forget the reality and seriousness of sin?
- How would you have responded if you had heard Jesus speaking about his impending rejection, suffering and death (Mark 8:31, 9:31; 10:33)? How do you respond today?
- How does the hope we have in Jesus (Mark 13:26-27; 14:62) encourage you and challenge you?
